Patara Collections partners with innovative designers, artists, home entrepreneurs and creative geniuses to enable their creativity to reach a global audience.

 Patara Collection’s unique model not only allows its seller community to reach a global audience through its online and mobile platforms but also provides a multichannel offline distribution model through which they can reach out to clientele across multiple cities in India and eventually globally.

The amalgamation of this unique model ensures that Patara Collection’s sellers achieve maximum visibility as well as allows its clients to enjoy the luxury of these products at their convenience.


Our Team

Priyanka Kewalramani (CEO)

Priyanka worked as a Fashion Stylist for 12 years starting in 2002, before conceptualizing Patara Collections with Raj. She is an extremely talented and creative designer with an equally formidable aptitude for business. Recognizing the gap in the market for Creative Entrepreneurs, she came up with the idea of building an ecommerce platform to make it easier for them to generate revenues all year round.

Hansraj Mistry (COO)

Ranked 18 in Lurzer’s archive top photographers globally in 2005, Raj has achieved great heights by winning prestigious awards in his 20 year career as a commercial photographer. With an additional background in real estate construction, Raj brings immense knowledge in design and production for Betel Leaf products. His enthusiasm and perfectionism for quality is the trademark for Betel Leaf.


Advisory Board and Investors

Nirav Choksi

Nirav is the co-founder of Equenoa Natural Resources Pte. Ltd, a Singapore based commodity trading and structured finance firm.

Nirav brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in varied businesses including Technology, E commerce, Mining and Commodity Trading. Nirav successfully sold his technology company, CTech in 2008 having spent 10 years building ebusiness systems for companies like mTV, mTVu.com, Baazee.com, Hungama.com, India.com, Saffron Art.com etc.

Nirav is also the Founder and Chairman of HHC Holdings Pte. Ltd. a Singapore based Investment Company that invests in very early stage companies and incubates majority owned businesses.

Nirav studied Computer Science and Economics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Nirav was one of the first investors in Roll Mafia inves0ng in 2013 with a follow up round in 2015.


Ram Kewalramani

Ram has 15+ years in Investment Banking, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

Ram is currently the CEO of Premier People Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd, a corporate car rental company. Ram spearheaded a buyout along with a private equity investor to tap on the US$ 15 billion car rental opportunity in India. Post the buyout, the Company has grown revenues by 2.5x and expanded from a 1 city opera0on to 6 ci0es. Prior to this, Ram was a Director at Grant Thornton India looking at growing the firms Investment banking prac0ce. Previously, Ram was heading opera0ons for a packaging company which was in BIFR – post successfully comple0ng a turnaround of the company, Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala invested in the Company. Ram later went to form an Advisory company which was sold to one of India’s leading financial company.

Ram is also a co-investor and Operating Partner in HHC Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Ram invested in his personal capacity in Roll Mafia in early 2015 and advises the company.


Kabir Kewalramani

Kabir Kewalramani is the Managing Director of Berggruen Holdings India (Berggruen). Prior to this he was the CEO of RDC Concrete India Ltd. RDC was previously financially strained and needed a financial and operational restructuring. Kabir orchestrated a smooth change in the top and middle management of the Company, divested non-core assets, restructured the debt, simultaneously raised fresh capital from financial institutions and eventually led a management buyout of RDC Concrete – eventually running the business as CEO and shareholder. Currently, RDC is the 4th largest ready mix concrete companies in India and employs in excess of 800 people.

On the personal front, Kabir is a keen writer. He represents India as a member of its national water-skiing team in the Slalom events. He plays golf (handicap 9), tennis, squash and cricket. He is also actively pursuing the sport of Kite Surfing.
